Please read these terms and conditions carefully before you start to use the site. By using our site, you indicate that you accept these terms of use and that you agree to abide by them. If you do not agree to these terms of use, please refrain from using our site. You should print and save a copy of these terms and conditions for your future reference.

1.1 This website is only intended for use by people resident in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. We are unable to accept orders from any other countries.

1.2 Our website is also only intended for use by consumers; that means people who want to buy our products for personal use and not for any business purposes. We reserve the right to reject your order if we reasonably think that you are buying our products for business purposes but we will contact you to discuss this first.

2. MAKING A CONTRACT WITH US

2.1 When you place an order with us, you are making an offer to buy products. We will send you an e-mail to confirm that we have received your order.

2.2 Once we have reviewed your order we will e-mail you again to confirm that we accept your order, and that a contract has been made between us.

2.3 In the unlikely event that the items are no longer available, or that we have made a pricing mistake, we will advise you of this. You will not receive an e-mail confirming acceptance of your order, and there will be no contract between us.

2.4 Images of products on this website are for illustrative purposes only. Your items may vary slightly from the image shown on the website and will not include any of the pictured accessories, unless stated in the specification of the items. Whilst items may be shown assembled they may require assembly by you.

2.5 We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products that appear on this website. However, we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any colour will accurately reflect the colour of the actual items.

2.6 Whilst we try to be as accurate as possible, all information provided is approximate and is provided in good faith.

2.7 This contract is covered by English law.

2.8 By placing an order with us, you agree to and accept these terms, as well as our privacy policy and the terms of website use.

3.3 You will be required to pay for the items in full at the time of ordering.

3.4 We use secure payment facilities for online purchases via PayPal. You will need to have a Paypal account to purchase items from this website.

3.5 Once your order has been confirmed, changes may not be possible or may incur additional charges or delays.

3.6 Once your order is complete we will notify you of the dispatch date.

3.7 By placing an order through our website, you are confirming to us that:

4. PRICING

4.1 The price of the products and our delivery charges will be as quoted on our website but may change from time to time, except as set out in 7.4 below.

4.2 All prices quoted on our website are in UK pounds.

4.3 Promotional prices only apply during the period stated.

4.4 Product prices and delivery charges are liable to change at any time, but changes will not affect orders in respect of which we have already sent you a despatch email.

5. DISCOUNTS AND OFFERS

5.1 Promotions will occasionally be run at our discretion. We reserve the right to terminate any special offer or discount at any time without notice (but this will not affect any orders that we have already accepted).

5.2 Offer codes will occasionally be made available at our discretion and these will be available to use against your order with us. Only one offer code can be used per order, and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer code or against items already discounted in the 'Sale' category.

5.3 Promotional offers will have their own set of terms and conditions for the purchase of items in that particular promotion. This will include promotion ending dates and any other exclusions or terms.  Details will be included with each promotion.

6. DELIVERY

6.1 Items will normally be dispatched from our warehouse within 48 hours and any estimated dispatch date is an estimate, which can change without notice.  Sometimes this timescale may be longer eg. during bank holidays and seasonal holidays.

6.2 Your order may arrive in more than one delivery.

6.3 We can deliver our products anywhere in mainland Great Britain and Republic of Ireland. Unfortunately we do not deliver to the Channel Islands or the Highlands/Islands of Scotland, however we are able to deliver to a mainland courier company on your behalf for onward shipping.

6.4 We will deliver the items to the premises you specify on your order. We will not accept responsibility for loss or damage if you instruct the delivery company to leave the items unattended.

6.5 If you change the delivery address once the items have been dispatched to you, we reserve the right to pass on any extra charges made by our carriers for redirecting your delivery.

6.6 Please check the items on delivery - any items found to be missing or damaged should be notified to us immediately in writing hello@anjohome.co.uk

6.7 Sometimes, for reasons beyond our control we may be prevented from delivering your items as planned. These might include things such as accidents, breakdowns, fire, flood, storm, severe weather, acts of god, war, riot, civil commotion, malicious damage or the default of our suppliers. We will try to put things right as soon as possible however we can’t be responsible where this causes a delay or failure in delivering your items.

6.8 We reserve the right not to deliver any products to an address that does not appear to be secure, for example to a communal postal area or a PO box address. If we consider this to be the case, we will contact you to try to obtain an alternative address for delivery. If this is not possible, we will need to cancel the order.

7. CANCELLATION AND RETURNS

7.1 This policy does not apply to items which are exempt from the Distance Selling Regulations, or the following items which are exempt from the right to cancel; which include any items which have been personalised or modified to your specification.

7.2 You can cancel your contract with us at any time up to 7 working days after the day of delivery. To do this, please e-mail or write to us. We are unable to accept cancellations by phone.

7.3 You do not have to give any reason for cancellation. However, a brief explanation will help us to improve the service we offer to customers in the future.

7.4 If you cancel, you must return the items within 14 days of cancellation, complete with the original packaging to us, at your own expense. You must ensure that the items are packaged adequately to protect against damage.

7.5 You may properly examine the items for 7 working days as you would do had you visited our showroom, however you may not return any items that have been used, unless they are faulty.

7.6 If you fail to return the items, we will collect them, and we will charge you the direct cost of collection. If you fail to take reasonable care of the items before they are returned to us, and this results in damage or deterioration, we will charge you for the reduction in value.

7.7 We will refund all monies paid to us by you including any postage / carriage within 30 days, less any costs due under this contract.

7.8 Customers exempt from the distance selling regulations may not cancel an order without our mutual agreement.

7.9 This cancellation policy does not affect your legal rights - for example, if items are faulty or misdescribed.

8. FAULTY ITEMS

8.1 If there is a problem with the items, please notify us by email or in writing providing details of the problem. It’s helpful if you can provide us with a digital photograph of the problem as this normally saves you having to return the items for inspection. We will deal with the matter in accordance with your legal rights.

8.2 If an exchange is necessary, this will be arranged without unreasonable delay and without charge. Replacement items will not be dispatched until the original items have been received at our warehouse and checked.

8.3The cost of returning items to us is your responsibility, however on inspection we will refund your reasonable postage costs, providing that the items are found to be faulty. If the items are not faulty, we will return them to you, however you will be required to cover our reasonable postage costs.

8.4 If an item is no longer available we will offer an alternative. However our liability will be to replace the faulty items only and we are unable to guarantee an exact match. In this instance you will have the option of a refund.

9. LIABILITY

9.1 The products sold on this website have been designed to comply with all relevant UK legislation. We cannot warrant or represent that they comply with any legal requirement outside the UK.

9.2 We do not accept liability for any consequential loss of profit or indirect losses as a result of purchasing a product from this website.

10. GENERAL

10.1 - Neither we nor you will be responsible if we are unable to perform our obligations under the contract due to events which are genuinely beyond your or our reasonable control (as applicable).

10.2 - Nothing under the contract shall give rights to any person who is not a party to it (whether under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999) or otherwise.

10.3 - We revise our terms and conditions from time to time. You will be subject to the terms and conditions in force at the time that you order products from us.
